Belmore Court & Motel embarked on its journey towards IIP accreditation in September 2000 and has recently achieved its sixth IIP Review. The company’s organisational ambition remains steadfast: “To retain its position on TripAdvisor as the #1 place to stay in Fermanagh.” The recent IIP assessment underscores Belmore Court’s robust commitment to excellent people management practices, closely aligning with the Investors in People framework. The assessment revealed that all three principles—Leading, Supporting, and Improving—are firmly rooted at the ‘Developed’ level, affirming the Motel’s dedication to fostering a nurturing and progressive work environment.

The existing performance management approach, characterised by 1-2-1 meetings, is applauded for its merit, but it will undergo refinement to ensure consistent application across the organisation. The final report found that Belmore Court & Motel was “robustly grounded in good people management practices which reflect the Investors in People framework“.
