Enniskillen is in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It is almost exactly in the centre of the county and located on a hilly island in the centre of Lock Erne. In Enniskillen, there are some wonderful hotels and self-catering accommodations to stay in to enjoy the beautiful sights of Enniskillen, one of our favourites is of course our sister property, the Lodge at Lough Erne.
The Lodge at Lough Erne Resort offers guests a superb luxury 5* self-catering home from home experience and is one of the most beautiful hotels in Enniskillen. The guests of the Lodge can well and truly make themselves at home within the comfort of beautifully designed holiday homes featuring modern interiors, such as 3 spacious bedrooms, a large open plan kitchen and dining area which opens out onto a patio area which is paved, as well as a spacious living area and utility room!
Alongside the wonderful accommodation which makes you feel comfortable from the moment you step in, there is a whole range of facilities within walking distance, such as a luxury spa which includes a Crystal Aroma Steam Room, a Light Therapy Sauna and a Tropical Rain Shower available at the Lough Erne Resort (extra charge). Alongside this, there is a 14m infinity pool (additional charge) directly overlooking Castle Hume Lough creating the perfect backdrop for a swim! If a Spa isn’t your cup of tea the Lodge at Lough Erne is also home to one of the top golf resorts in Ireland, providing a 36 hole golfing experience. The resort features two championship golf courses including the renowned Faldo Course. If you need to touch up on your golfing skills there is also The Golf Academy providing an all-weather driving range experience too!
For a trip outside of the Lodge, there are some beautiful walks located nearby, such as The Collop Walk, where guests can enjoy the scenic Collop Nature walk which will encompass the Resort grounds and the Faldo Course, along your way you might be lucky enough to encounter some wildlife such as birds of prey, swan nests, red squirrels and cygnets.
