Easter Land of Fairies at Marble Arch Caves

Discover the Fairy Villages and Easter Egg Hunt on this Easter Trail. This enchanting Easter-themed outdoor fairy trail begins at Greenwood Gate; here, you will enter the ancient wood of the Cladagh Glen, which is a unique fairy sanctuary.  Discover what mythical creatures of the fairy family live within this wonderfully diverse woodland as you explore.

Easter Land of Fairies at Marble Arch Caves

The Easter Trail includes a Land of Fairies Activity Booklet (1 per booked child), which contains a fairy trail map and an Easter activity sheet to complete. Use your Land of Fairies Activity booklet to follow the fairy trail map and clues to discover the mythical creatures; keep your eyes peeled to find out the Easter eggs along the trail. The children will learn about various types of fairies, see their villages, discover eggs along the way and meet the fairies’ friends as they venture around the fairy sanctuary in Fermanagh.

Easter Egg Hunts

The National Trust is hosting Easter-themed nature trails at the of its Fermanagh sites this year: Crom, Castle Coole and Florence Court. They all make the Ultimate Guide To Easter in Enniskillen.

Castlecoole– 29th March to 2nd April

Explore the stunning grounds of Castle Coole this spring as you embark on one of our Easter-themed trails. Collect your trail map at the Visitor Centre and enter nature to find each exciting stage.

Discover the Easter Bunny’s giant basket, enjoy traditional Easter games, hunt for signs of spring.

Trails take place between 29th March and the 2nd April, from 11am to 4pm so come along and explore the beautiful grounds of Florence Court this spring.

Normal admission applies, plus £3 per trail pack, which includes an Easter trail sheet, pencil, bunny ears and dairy or vegan & Free From* chocolate egg. *Suitable for people with allergies to milk, egg, gluten, peanut and tree nuts.

Easter in Forthill Park

Easter Picnic in the Park – Tuesday 2nd April

The Annual Easter Picnic in the Park, set against the scenic backdrop of Forthill Park in Enniskillen, Fermanagh, promises an afternoon filled with festive fun on Tuesday, 02 April 2024. This family-friendly event is a perfect way to celebrate Easter outdoors, featuring an exciting Easter Egg Trail that will delight both young and old. Attendees can look forward to encountering Easter chicks, engaging in traditional games, and enjoying lively music from the bandstand. 

For those with a creative flair, traditional craft activities will be available, along with the energetic whirl of hula-hooping for the more physically inclined. A special highlight includes the opening of Cole’s Monument, offering a unique opportunity to admire Galbraith Lowry Cole up close. Best of all, admission to the park, the Easter Egg trail, and all activities is completely free, making it an ideal outing for families looking to enjoy the holiday without breaking the bank.

The Share Village invites families to partake in its Easter Eggstravaganza, a delightful family fun day filled with activities and entertainment suitable for children of all ages. Scheduled for two convenient time slots, from 12PM to 2PM or 4PM to 6PM, this event offers a wide range of attractions designed to bring joy and excitement to the Easter celebrations. 

For an admission fee of £15 per child, participants will have access to a variety of engaging activities, including a bouncy castle that promises endless fun, face painting to transform little faces into works of art, balloon modelling for creative shapes and figures, and Easter crafts to spark the imagination. The excitement continues with an egg hunt, where children can search for hidden treasures, and a competition for the best children’s fancy dress, offering a chance to showcase creative costumes (though participation is optional). 

Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day to ensure that everyone stays refreshed. It’s a wonderful opportunity for families to create lasting memories this Easter, especially since children aged 1 year and under can enjoy the festivities without requiring a ticket.

Easter Escape Rooms – Various Dates

If you’re on the hunt for a thrilling and novel escape room experience in Northern Ireland, then the Share Discovery Village offers exactly what you need with its newly introduced Escape Room. This immersive adventure transports you to the fictional world of Shanaghy Bay Police Department, where you and your friends become detectives for the day. Your mission is critical: solve the perplexing mystery of a priceless family heirloom, a beautiful golden necklace, which has vanished from the police station’s evidence locker.

This escape room challenges you to use the room and the clues provided to unravel the secrets behind the necklace’s disappearance, with the ultimate goal of returning it to its rightful owners. Designed to be inclusive, this experience is suitable for participants of all ages and is accessible to wheelchair users, ensuring everyone can join in on the fun. 

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, any group with participants under the age of 12 is required to include at least one adult in their team. Devenish Island Easter Tours

There is no better way to relax and enjoy the panoramic views in the sunshine than with a boat tour in Enniskillen with Erne Tours on the MV Kestrel. The Devenish Island Easter tour allows you to experience the great outdoors while taking in such landmarks as Enniskillen Castle, Portora Royal School & Boat club, Old Portora Castle, Waterways Ireland HQ and Cole’s Monument. Your personal Boat Master will deliver a live and entertaining commentary on a public tour to Devenish Island. What an egg-citing day on the water!

Easter Camp

The team at Blue Green Yonder are running an Easter Camp this year for kids aged 7-15. The half day camp will take place on Monday 10th and Tuesday 1th April from 9.30am-12pm or 1pm-3.30pm.
