The trail is part of Cuilcagh Mountain Park and Section Three of the longer 20.5-mile Cuilcagh Way route through scenic west Fermanagh. Hikers should be prepared for rugged mountain paths and embracing the wild.

Dark Sky Safari – Irish Astronomy Week 2024

Come and see the glorious sights of the night sky at one of the darkest sky sites in Ireland.  Join  amateur astronomer Michael Murphy, of the Fermanagh Amateur Astronomers Society on a Dark Sky Safari in the pristine dark skies of Cavan Burren Park.  A presentation of some of Mick’s photos of objects in the night sky will be delivered in the event of cloudy skies.

Mobile reception could be better – inform someone of your plans. In an emergency, call 999/112 for mountain rescue.
