Coronavirus - Covid-19

We have received information from the Northern Ireland Executive regarding the extension of restrictions introduced for the hospitality businesses in Northern Ireland which will apply until at least 1st April 2021. 

In line with government advice our Motel Standard Rooms with mini kitchens and our Lodge at Lough Erne are permitted to remain open throughout this period for non-leisure guests, key workers & essential travellers. We are continuing to operate with limited hours (10am to 2pm) and with limited availability.

If you have an existing booking before 1st April 2021. We are working to contact all of you over the coming weeks.

If your stay is NOT for leisure purposes please contact us, preferably by messaging or email, to confirm this ensuring your booking goes ahead. If you were due to stay with us as a leisure guest we are unfortunately no longer able to accommodate your upcoming booking.

PrePay rates;  We would love to welcome you an on alternative date, without any change fees (subject to availability and price difference) or alternatively we can place your deposit on hold until you are in a position to travel again. By doing this you will be supporting a local family business and we truly appreciate it.

Flexible rates; We would love if you could choose another date and we will honour the rate (subject to availability). 

WHAT CAN YOU DO NOW?

  1. Please contact us using one of the options below stating your booking date & what you would like to do and we shall respond ASAP.
  2. Wait for reception to contact you over the coming weeks to clarify what you would like to do.

Reception is open from 10am to 2pm every day and they will be contacting guests during that time.

Belmore Court & Motel have achieved the “We’re Good To Go” COVID -19 national industry and consumer mark to certify that the respective national guidance, including social distancing and cleanliness protocols, have been put in place.

Our contingency plan

Once you have confirmed your reservation you will receive a confirmation email from our reception team regarding your stay. Please check all the details are correct and contact us if there are any changes. If you have made a breakfast inclusive booking you must pre-book a breakfast time slot before arrival.

In the event that you need to change the date of your pre-paid short break to Belmore Court & Motel due to COVID-19, our ‘Change Of Plan Promise’ means you can transfer your booking to a new date, without any cancellation fees, provided changes are made 48 hours prior to your arrival date.

Additional charges may apply based on your alternative arrival date.

All other booking terms and conditions remain unchanged.

What does it cover?

Your booking is protected in the event:

  • Belmore Court & Motel is closed due to COVID-19 outbreak.
  • NI Executive / UK Government restricts travel to the area due to COVID-19 outbreak.
  • You are unable to travel due to your our a member of your household displaying COVID-19 symptoms.
  • COVID-19 “Change Of Plan Promise” is not applicable to any bookings made via a 3rd party including coach operators and online booking agencies. Please contact the relevant 3rd party directly to discuss changes to your booking.

Guest room sanitisation procedures

In addition to our normal cleaning program, we wish to inform you that our award-winning housekeeping team are implementing an additional anti-bacterial cleaning plan including an extra focus on touchpoints including phones, tv remote, pens, etc. and other additional touchpoints to eliminate 99.9% of bacteria and viruses.

As a final step, we shall also conduct a fogging sanitisation of your room including the bathroom/ensuite prior to your arrival. Once this has taken place the room will not be reentered in advance of your arrival. Fogging is a process through which we can make sure the rooms are 99.0% free from bacteria, fungi and viruses.

Once this has taken place, the room will not be reentered prior to your arrival.

IF YOU OR ANYONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD HAVE ANY COVID-19 SYMPTOMS (see bottom of page) OR IF YOU HAVE BEEN IN A COUNTRY NOT ON THE UK GOVERNMENTS GREEN LIST WE ASK THAT YOU DO NOT TRAVEL TO STAY WITH US.

Covid-19 Change Of Plan Promise* Terms & Conditions 

In advance of your arrival, you will receive a pre-arrival email. Within this email will be an ‘invitation to provide your check-in details’ which we kindly ask you to complete prior to your arrival so that we can provide a contactless check-in.

Rooms are available from 3pm. Payment will be taken on or before arrival.

Early Check-in is available for additional costs:

  • 1pm for £10
  • 10am for £25

Face-coverings are required in all public areas (except when in your room or seated at breakfast).

You can also download our new App to help prepare for your visit and to make your stay more enjoyable.

Check-in

Upon arrival, you will notice that screens have been installed at reception and that all of our team members will be practising social distancing.

All guest are required to wear a face-covering on entry to reception and within the public areas of the building. There is NO requirement to wear a face-covering when you are in your room or seated at breakfast.

We look forward to welcoming you to stay with us and for your safety, we have installed safety screens at our reception desk and all our team members will be practising social distancing.

We are offering a contactless check-in service and your details will be prepopulated on the registration form but there is no need to sign.

Payment will be taken on or before arrival and the credit card terminal will be sanitised before and after use. Card payments are preferred.

The Key/Key Card and holder will be sanitised before issue.

Public areas

All public areas will be fogged twice daily including the foyer, reception, breakfast room, lifts, staircases, corridors, public toilets and back of house areas.

Hand sanitizers are found at the entrance, reception and throughout the building.

Lift etiquette

The lift and buttons are regularly sanitised and fogged throughout the day.

Guests are asked NOT to travel in the lift with others outside their party.

Contactless check out

You can leave your key in the checkout box at reception. The reception team are on hand with any comments/suggestions you may have.

Housekeeping

Additional Cleaning Procedures

During your stay housekeeping is available as normal but solely on a request from 9am to 3pm. Rooms will not be serviced and staff will not enter your room during your stay unless you specifically request service by contacting reception or by leaving the ‘please service’ sign on your door. Please submit your service request by 12noon for same-day service. Guests may also request additional towels or other items and this will be brought to your door and left outside.

Should you wish to have a service we ask that you vacate your room during the service. 

Housekeepers will be wearing masks and gloves (changed after every room) and like all other team members will be having their temperature checked every morning.

Public areas

All public areas will be fogged twice daily including the foyer, reception, breakfast room, lifts, staircases, corridors, public toilets and back of house areas.

Breakfast

BREAKFAST WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL AT LEAST 1st APRIL 2021

Guests can choose to have a “Breakfast to go” or to book a breakfast time for their sitting. Please let us know at least before 10pm the night before. 

Breakfast is served:

Monday to friday     7.00am to 10.30am

Saturday & sunday     7.30am to 11.00pm

Restaurants/bars

CURRENTLY ALL RESTAURANTS AND BARS ARE CLOSED UNTIL AT LEAST 1st APRIL 2021

Most restaurants and bars in the town centre and surrounding area are open to the public. To be sure you get served in the establishment it is recommended that you contact the business and make a booking. Each business will advise you of the procedures during this time.

Covid-19 symptoms

If you experience any COVID-19 symptoms during your stay we kindly ask you to stay in your room.

These include:

  • High Temperature
  • New, continuous cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Loss of taste
